Title: Can't find topic about using profile rights as folder security
Post by: Jim Padgett on March 04, 2011, 11:13:22 AM
I know there was a topic about simple file/folder security using a user's profile or account rights, ie. user or admin can read files, but no other normal user account....

I pride myself on being able to find things... but this one is eluding me....

Close, but I kind of remember it being something like where a user's folder their profile can only be seen by an administrator or that user. I don't really remember but I kind of thought  you could create a folder out side of the normal profile location with similar rights as it being in their profile location.
It's no biggie and I assume you could simply assign folder rights via security tab.... maybe that's what I'm really looking for... ie. how to assign folder security rights via programming ...
