Title: Delphi now x64 ?
Post by: Theo Gottwald on October 22, 2011, 03:03:04 PM
Seeing that page, it looks like there is an "x64" Button up there.

A "limited commercial licence" is available fpr the price of the complete PB Compiler.

Quickpdf IIRC was written in Delphi, and they have just released an x64 version, so Theo, it seems that there is x64 support.

Delphi does support 64-bit now, it's just not available in the cheapest version. Of course, there's always Lazarus for those who aren't interested in sending large piles of money to Embarcadero.

It's good to read Mike's postings carefully. Because he knows a lot and what he says is always very up to date.

He told us from

LAZARUS (http://wiki.freepascal.org/Lazarus_For_Delphi_Users/de)

which seems to be free (a bit like Delphi)  and also worth to take a look.
