The best free Video-Editing Program: DaVinci Resolve from "Blackmagic Design"

Even the free version of DaVinci Resolve is packed with more features than most paid software applications! You can use it to edit and finish up to 60 fps in resolutions as high as Ultra HD 3840 x 2160.
You get extensive color grading tools including luma, HSL and 3D keyers, color warper and HDR tools, video collage, elastic wave audio retiming and more. Plus it now also enables collaboration so multiple people can work on the same project, all at the same time! Once you've learned how to use DaVinci Resolve and gain more experience, you can move up to DaVinci Resolve Studio. With over 50 advanced features, Studio includes DaVinci Neural Engine, additional Resolve FX, stereoscopic 3D and more!

I have personally used "Pinnacle Studio" in many version - none of them was ever bug free. Must say that the good thing in Pinnacle is the included "Music Creator". The usability of Pinnacle Studio is not good, it made a lot of crashes and the support was no help.
After all my impression was that Pinnacle is a typical US-Marketing Company. With most interest in "Selling".
Then I tried the Corel Video Pro X. The good thing here is the included Screen-Video-Recorder. Its the best Screen-Video recorder for 4K. The rest is not so good. Rendering is rather to very slow, but makes less crashes and has less bugs then Pinnacles. Usage is not easy and intuitive as i see it.

Currently I useCamtasia 2020 for Screen-Recording and its Ok, while it still goes only up to 4K Rendering, not higher. Its mostly stable and does a good Job. Remebering much older Versions of Camtasia I am not shure they really improved it or they made it worse :-). But its Ok and they also offer a lot of free Content, Templates etc. for their users.

After all i think i have possibly wasted a lot of money. Because DaVinci Resolve is free and seems to be perfectly stable.

WHY IS THAT a FREE SOFTWARE is better then such that are being paid?

There is also a "Paid Version" that is called "DaVinci Resolve Studio" and you can buy it for example here.
But this one is mostly for real "Studios" and you will not really need it.
