Hi Charles,
I wanted to ask if in O2 there is the possibility to read/manage outlook pst and ost files.
Thank you

Charles Pegge

Hi Nicola,

I am not familiar with these files. It looks like a major project:

Yes, they are files used for mail management by Microsoft Outlook.
Since December 1st I no longer work in the company where I worked for 35 years.
There I used outlook. Over time I have kept various emails that I can not handle now. :-(

I saw on the internet and free programs I did not find ...

In the forum I found this: http://www.jose.it-berater.org/smfforum/index.php?topic=3685.msg12007#msg12007

Hi Charles.
Thank you for the link. I tried the program, the free version can read the archive but it won't let you do anything else. For example it doesn't allow you to open attachments. I found others similar to the one you mentioned:
Kernel Outlook PST Viewer.exe
SysTools Outlook PST Viewer.exe
RecoveryToolboxForOutlook.64.exe
pstwalker.exe
pst2eml.exe

Everyone has the same limitations. The last one, which translates pst emails to eml, only does the first 5.
Cheers

Hi Nicola,

If there was a way of decoding the pst files B-Tree, we would solve it. Apparently, the data is held in blocks of 512 byte
u
Unicode.

Charles,
can these files be useful?
